Added the ability not to save write-in players to the database when using Online Res v5

In the 3.102 version of Online Res v5, the set write-in assignment option under Player Booking no longer forces you to choose whether write-ins are added as Players or Customers, which can lead to significant duplication since Validate Data Entry config isn't considered for write-ins.

Note: In our previous Online Res v4, write-ins are not added to the database either as Players or as Customers. We have updated v5 to have that same ability.

To set up for write-in players to be not saved

1. Go to the Online Option Add this at the end of your site's URL: /onlineoptionsweb/logins site and log in as an admin or with the proper permissions.

2. From the Home menu, select | Starterhut | Online Booking | Booking | Player Booking. The Player Book screen displays.

   

3. Select the Customer Registration checkbox.

4. From the Set Write-in Assignment drop-down, select Don’t Add if you do NOT want to add a walk-in customer to your database.

   

5. Select Save from the bottom right corner of the screen. The change takes place immediately.
